Distribution of Free WI-FI Hotspots in Manhattan

 
 

Where are the different types of free Wi-Fi hotspots located throughout Manhattan?

Working with ACS and Census data in ArcMap, this project encompassed table joins; querying a GIS feature class based on attributes within its table and based on its spatial relationships to another layer's features; classifying quantitative information within GIS software; working with attribute tables, including adding and calculating new fields and accessing summary statistics.

At a glance, this map illustrates that the spatial distribution of free Wi-Fi hotspots throughout Manhattan are predominantly along subway lines, as well as a large concentration above Central Park in Harlem.
