Density Changes by County in the United States

Which county in the Continental United States saw the largest change in population density from 2010 to 2015?

Utilizing US Census data, this project evaluated the implications of the modifiable areal unit problem and executed a multi-part, geoprocessing-based method. By calculating the areas of the polygon features and the percent change/difference between population metrics, I found that 9 different counties saw growth rates between 77% and 205%. McKenzie County, one of those 9 counties, was surrounded by 5 other counties that saw significant growth, with an average density growth of 43%.
